Hibiki 17 年混合威士忌由山崎和白州酿酒厂的麦芽威士忌以及知多酿酒厂的谷物威士忌混合酿制而成。威士忌随后在美国白橡木桶、雪利酒桶和日本水楢橡木桶中陈酿至少 17 年。酿制出来的威士忌风味和香气交相辉映，散发着蜂蜜、香草和橡木的香气，口感则有干果、焦糖和香料的味道。水楢橡木桶为威士忌赋予了独特的风味，带有檀香、熏香和日本香料的味道。
