A long-time favourite from Down the Rabbit Hole, 'Friends & Lovers' is a dry, French-style rosé made entirely from Sangiovese. The 2026 vintage is elegant and refreshing, combining vibrant strawberry and raspberry fruit with delicate floral notes, fine acidity and a silky, refined texture.

Vineyard

The fruit is sourced from the Willunga foothills in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grown on certified organic vines, with the 2026 fruit harvested on 17 March 2026.

Producer Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale salmon.

Bouquet: Highly perfumed and expressive, with lifted aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petal, complemented by delicate floral notes.

Palate: Elegant and beautifully perfumed, with vibrant strawberry, raspberry and red cherry at its core. Fine acidity and a silky texture create a sense of freshness and balance, carrying through to a long, delicate and persistent finish.
