Cirillo 1850 赛美蓉酒产自巴罗萨谷 Light Pass 的一个历史悠久的葡萄园，该葡萄园被誉为马德拉岛以外世界上最古老的赛美蓉（马德拉）葡萄园。它是澳大利亚仅存的少数赛美蓉葡萄园之一，由于其独特的起源，而非其地区遗产，它被归类为赛美蓉酒。

葡萄采摘时间早，一般在 1 月中下旬，酸度较高。葡萄经过精心采摘，用篮子压榨，然后进行罐式发酵，避免橡​​木的影响。

酒色呈淡绿黄色，几乎透明，散发出浓郁的柠檬草香味和纯净的矿物味。口感果味浓郁，结构清淡，余味爽脆，酸味浓郁。
