Overview
Château d'Yquem stands at the summit of Sauternes as the only estate classified Premier Cru Supérieur in the 1855 Classification. The 2015 vintage is an exceptionally acclaimed release, combining immense concentration and botrytis richness with the acidity, precision and longevity that define great Yquem. Vintage
The 2015 is a richly concentrated expression of Sauternes, built around botrytised Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Critical assessments consistently highlight its combination of opulence and freshness, with candied citrus, tropical fruit, honey, nuts and spice supported by vibrant acidity and exceptional length.
Winemaking
The wine is barrel fermented and matured for approximately 20 months in French oak.
