About This Whisky

Sullivans Cove French Oak Ex-Tawny Refill TD0374 is a single cask Tasmanian single malt whisky matured for 12 years and 8 months. Distilled in October 2012 and decanted in July 2025, it was matured in a single 300L French oak ex-Tawny cask previously used to mature an older batch of Sullivans Cove Single Malt Whisky. This second-fill maturation allows the rich character of French oak to complement the distinctive Sullivans Cove spirit, creating a whisky that moves from a rich, intense nose to a more restrained and delicate palate. Only 531 bottles were produced at 46.3% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich brown sugar, molasses, dark rum, spice, cherry tart and cocoa.

Palate: Light, syrupy and subtle, with vanilla cream, bubble gum, watermelon and cotton candy.

Finish: Lingering and creamy, carrying strawberry, pink donut, apple turnover and coconut icing.
