This 12-year-old single malt hails from the Highlands, matured in freshly-charred American Oak casks, and bottled at 56.2% ABV. The label, adorned with two enigmatic foxes, hints at the whisky’s intriguing balance of light and dark flavors.
Nose: Delicate and maritime, with hints of distant smoke, seaweed, and iodine.
Palate: Starts off intensely spicy with Szechuan pepper and cloves, then mellows to reveal fruity and subtle vanilla notes.
Finish: Long, creamy, and finishing with a touch of custard.
