Overview
A vibrant, youthful Grenache made with organically and biodynamically grown fruit from Yangarra’s single-vineyard estate in Blewitt Springs. Crafted in a fresh Nouveaux-inspired style, it combines juicy red fruit, floral lift and refreshing acidity with gentle natural tannins.
Vineyard
The wine is made from 100% estate-grown Grenache Noir, sourced predominantly from bush vines planted in 2008. The vineyard lies approximately 180 metres above sea level on ancient North Maslin Sands, with ironstone and sandy soils contributing to the distinctive expression of the site.
Winemaking
The fruit was hand-picked, destemmed and selectively sorted, with 50% whole berries retained. Wild fermentation took place in open-top stainless-steel fermenters, followed by approximately 15 to 21 days of gentle skin maceration. The wine matured on lees for five months in stainless steel, seasoned French oak puncheons and foudre before bottling in September 2024.

There’s an open red-berried and cherry fruitfulness, with red florals supported by savoury spice and a foundation of purposeful natural tannin… the fruit vibrancy and exuberance yield their own rewards.
