The Gander epitomizes our winemaking aspirations, a distinguished Barossa Valley Shiraz crafted from the finest fruit grown in our estate vineyards. Its profound concentration renders it nearly black in the glass, with an enticing aroma of violets, black cherry, blueberry compote, black plums, and Christmas spices. The palate reveals opulent flavors of black plum, black currant, and olive tapenade, complemented by cedar and vanilla nuances from 24 months of maturation in new French oak cellars. Velvety tannins coat the palate, ensuring a long, defined finish. This exceptional wine is destined for extended cellaring, evolving gracefully over 20-25 years.
