Despite a cooler and wetter growing season, the 2011 vintage surprises with its elegance, aromatic lift, and savoury complexity. Time in bottle has further enhanced its layers of dark berry fruit, espresso, black olive tapenade, and well-integrated oak spice. The tannins, while firm in youth, have mellowed into a silky structure that carries a long, savoury finish.
